Mama Palma's Mushroom and Tomato Pizza

This pizza was the highlight of my first visit to MP's. I didn't expected the combination to work so well, but tomato, onion, and mushroom is a trio greater than the sum of its parts. The ricotta "florets" were a perfect addition to the pie, adding just the right amount of soft, mild cheesiness.
We ordered the pie with a whole wheat crust, an off-and-on special; I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. It gave the ingredients a worthy base and provided a nice whole grain finish. Delish.
