Kairos

I am going on this Jesuit retreat to enlighten my dull existence with the presence of God's light...or so they say. The retreat lasts from Tuesday night to Friday afternoon and involves soon to be revealed tactics to have us enter into a closer relationship with the almighty. The entire proceedings thus far have been very hush-hush. We never actually had a meeting to explain why we should go or what Kairos entails.
Although the previous sentences may indicate otherwise, I am actually excited about this coming excursion because it is supposed to be one of the defining occassions of my Jesuit education. Sadly, I cannot relinquish all that I will experience on the trip once I return, but since you probably couldn't care less, it won't damper your day. Just know that while you are surfing the net, I am undergoing a life altering experience. Later!
